If you are using a stand alone fundraising page - one that opens in its own window or tab, then a vanity URL is for you. A vanity URL assigns your charity name and campaign name to the URL (aka link) you use for your donation page. This makes it perfect for social media posts. For your main donation page, you will want to use some version of your charity's name, like https://givedirect.org/mycharityname. Then, additional campaigns or events will use your charity name plus a keyword, like https://givedirect.org/mycharityname/myevent. A GiveDirect administrator can set up a vanity URL for you. The request usually takes one day to complete. To get your own URL, simply submit a request. If you have your fundraising page embedded into your web site, you do not need a custom URL.
