Transaction Notifications to Charities

As a courtesy to the charity, a notification email is sent by GiveDirect when a transaction is processed. While emails are great, they are not 100% reliable due to a myriad of possible connectivity issues and email spam filters. Therefore, we strongly suggest that you do not rely solely on email as a means of notification. Your GiveDirect Control Panel is live 24/7 and transactions are recorded in real time.

The GiveDirect system allows for only one person in your organization to receive automatic email notifications. A general account such as info@, onlinegiving@, or donations@ is one way to give multiple personnel access to e-mail notifications. An alternate method of sharing GiveDirect correspondence is to set up a forwarding rule in your email software.
