Updating Transaction Information

Almost all information the donor inputs into the payment form may be edited: Name, address, email address, company name, etc. You can also change the program or activity for which the donor restricted his payment (fig 1).

To change information in the Recurring Transaction (the record that holds the flag that tells us to process a recurring payment):

To access one of the monthly transactions (a transaction processed by GiveDirect on the 15th), follow the same steps above but go to Transactions Reports rather than Recurring Payments.

Note: Changing data in a Transaction Reports record only affects that one record and will not cause changes to future donations. If your update is necessary for all future payments, make sure you are modifying the Recurring Transaction.
