GiveDirect is a service provider to the charity. Our relationship is with you, the charity, rather than your donor. Therefore, as a general rule, GiveDirect will not initiate contact with your donors, with the exception of transaction confirmations. However, if a donor contacts us, we will, of course, respond to questions or requests for assistance, and/or forward requests to the charity for action.
GiveDirect is an online fundraising platform used by U.S. based charities to process charitable contributions, event registrations, and membership dues online.
This Privacy Policy describes what personal information GiveDirect collects, how GiveDirect uses this information, how this information may be shared, and what choices and rights you have with respect to this information.

In general, we do not remove personal information that is associated with transactions you have made on our platform. You may request to have your personal information removed from our platform using the Contact Us section of this site. If your personal information is removed, we will retain general information about your past transactions, such as date, amount, and the charity the contribution was given to, but your personally identifiable information will no longer be associated with those transactions. Please note that we do not control information that recipient charities have copied out of our platform.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
