Standard One-Click reports can be used to quickly generate reports from common date searches. Use the One Click drop down list and select a transaction report type: Today's, Yesterday's, This Month's, or Last Month's.
In the search fields panel, you will find several fields to help refine your search options, such as first and last name, transaction ID number, the last four digits of the card number, or Gift Dedication Name. These Search fields may be combined or used alone. But, if used as a stand-alone query, we recommend you also include a date range for faster results.
If your charity has more than one payment form, you can search for transactions by the specific form. To pull a report for a specific form, use the "My Forms" drop down menu on the top left and select the form name. To retrieve a list of all transactions, regardless of form, leave the "My Forms" drop down menu blank.
As you look for new marketing strategies or ways to present information to your board you will probably want to consider donor segmentation.
You will find sorting options for your transaction report at the bottom of the left-hand panel. You may select up to two pre-designated sort options. This may be done before or after the search is performed by clicking "Go." Sorting options will revert to empty when you logout.
To find your Gift Dedication transactions use either the One-Click "Gift Dedications" option (Figure 1 above), or use the search fields in Transaction Reports screen.
In the Transaction Reports search fields, there are two options: 1) you may find dedication gifts by the dedication name or 2) search for all gift dedications.
Note: The search results are only as reliable as the information submitted by your donor. If the name was misspelled or part of it omitted, the search may or may not produce accurate results.
Locate your Employer Match gifts by clicking the Employer Match check box at the bottom of the Transaction Reports search fields.

Let's assume you have a custom check box for "Please keep my gift anonymous" and you want to find all transactions where the donor clicked that check box. Enter the text into the "Custom Field Entry" field and click search. Likewise, if you are using a dropdown menu, enter one of the options from your drop down list (make sure to enter it exactly as shown on your payment form) and search.
The same can also be done for a custom fill-in field, but since the response to a fill-in field will be random, it will be more difficult to obtain an accurate search.
