You can download a QR code for any fundraising form directly from the Form Builder page.
Check out the Help Guide section for more specific instructions.
A QR code (Quick Response code) is a type of barcode. The code can be read by a phone and contains information. A QR code might open a website, open a text message, or open a PDF file. Many kinds of information can be embedded in it.
A smartphone camera is often used as a QR code scanner, which will read the image and convert it to an action, like opening a web site. Some phones require a QR code app to be the scanner instead of the built-in camera.
Many phones and tablets (including all iPhones) come equipped with a code reader built into the camera. Simply point the camera at the code and a popup window will redirect the donor to a URL, such as your donation form. Many older Android phones do not have a scanner built into the camera. But, there are free QR code scanner apps available that perform the same function.
Open the Camera app from the Home screen, Control Center, or Lock screen.
Select the rear facing camera. Hold your device so that the QR code appears in the viewfinder of the Camera and is in focus. Your device recognizes the QR code and shows a notification (shown in Figure).
Tap the notification to open the link associated with the QR code.
Use the built in QR Code generator in the Campaign Forms editor page to obtain a QR Code for publishing on your website, campaign email, or printed materials. The code will be automatically linked to your campaign form.
Use the color palette to change background and foreground colors to coordinate with your campaign. Click on either of the green "Save Changes" buttons to see how your color selections will look. Once satisfied, click the "Download QR Code" button to save your QR Code to your computer.
