Reassign transactions
If a charity uses multiple payment forms, there may be occasions when a donor uses an incorrect campaign form to complete the payment/donation. To correct this, you can reassign the payment/donation to the correct campaign form.
- Locate the transaction in Transactions Report or in Recurring Payments.
- Click the transaction ID to open the detail page.
- Click the Reassign button in the Transaction Information section.

- Select the correct campaign from the drop-down list.
- Click the Reassign button to save your work.

If your form has a progress bar, the amount on the progress bar will automatically be updated with the reassigned transaction amount.
Note: If you are reassigning a recurring payment, the reassignment will only apply to future donations. You may need to also reassign past transactions that you will find in Transactions Report.
