Recurring transaction policies - Auto Cancellation

Each month before recurring transactions are processed, a search is performed for all transactions that failed to process successfully in the previous month, but have not been updated with a new payment method.

Transactions that failed due to an invalid credit card number, expired card, or that have been declined in the two previous months will be canceled.

The transaction may be reactivated by calling the charity or GiveDirect and providing updated payment information.

Note: It is always better to update an existing recurring payment rather than setting up a new one.
